Hi... it's me, Amber. That's my amazing son, Christian. We call him T.T. Don't ask. I own Blonde in Santa Monica, CA and have been involved in the fashion industry for 16 yrs. (ouch!) I opened Blonde back in 2000. As time passed, I noticed that whether you were in the industry or just interested in it, there wasn't a place for people to gather and discuss fashion, and more importantly, to network. Social communities like Friendster and MySpace have proven that virtual communities are a great way to connect. Communities like these have become massive networks for everything and everyone. Genius, but why not narrow the focus: provide a social/networking community dedicated solely to fashion for those in the industry and those simply interested in it. Provide a place for designers, stylists, photographers, make-up artists, reps, store owners and others driving the fashion industry to connect and network with each other, and with the people who keep them employed: the consumer. Bingo! That is how the BlondeLA community came to be. I hope that you come inside and give it a try... it's free.
