What is this site about?
In addition to featuring the latest must-have clothing, Blonde has become a beachside community where clients, clothing reps, designers, stylists and others come to relax by the beach, chat, do some business, buy some clothes or otherwise just hang out.
We decided that it was time to bring our beachside community to life on the internet at BlondeLA.com. Here is some of what you will find:
- A social community. The BlondeLA.com social community brings designers, store owners, stylists, models, photographers, and other professionals from the fashion industry together with each other and with those who are simply interested in fashion. Members can create a customized profile, upload videos, pictures & music, chat, network, provide members of the community with links to other fashion related websites (either their own or others) and much more. MySpace has become everybody’s space, so we thought we’d offer an easy to navigate community dedicated solely to fashion;
- An online store featuring must-have clothing and accessories with advice from us on sizing, styling and much more; and
- Free streaming videos in the community and store which will include “Blonde Up-Close”: profiles of the designers, celebrities, stylists, photographers, store owners, manufacturers, and others who are driving the fashion industry; and “Amber’s Closet”: a window into upcoming lines that will be carried on the site, sizing suggestions, trend reports, beauty tips, what’s going on in Blonde and much more.
So, welcome! I hope you enjoy shopping here, and I hope that you utilize the BlondeLA Community to network, chat and otherwise submerse yourself in fashion!
How do I change the colors and fonts of my profile?
You may customize your site by using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). A help guide will be coming!
How do I upload sound?
Login to the community, click "my profile" and then click "update my music." Then click "Add Songs."
How do I change my personal picture?
Login to the community, click "my profile" and then click "profile: edit ." In your profile settings, go to "Personal Photo" and upload your photo. You may have only one personal photo.
How do I change my email or password?
Login to the community, click "my profile" and then click "profile: edit ." Go to your profile settings and click "Reset Password." You will be sent a new password to the email address you have provided.
How do I deactivate my account?
Login to the community, click "my profile" and then click "profile: edit ." Go to your profile settings and click "Delete Account." Confirm that you would like to delete your account.
Is this site free?
Yes.
What can I do about someone bugging or harrassing me?
You can block them. Go to their profile and click "Block User." This will prevent them from messaging you or requesting to add you as a friend (you must be logged in to do this).
How do I report spam or abuse?
Send email to customerservice@blondela.com with the subject line "spam".
Why am I getting friend requests from people I don't know?
Anyone can request to add you as a friend.
How can I delete friends?
Go to the friend's profile. Click the link to "Remove From Friends." Confirm that you would like to remove the friend (you must be logged in to do this).
Can I communicate with people that are not in my friends list?
Yes, you can message anyone unless they block you.
Can I add anyone as my friend?
Yes, unless they have blocked you.
How do I change the order in which friends appear?
You cannot. Friends are listed in the order in which you added them.
